Traditional bioinformatic platforms have and manage their own cloud tenancy.
This means they own their AWS, Azure or GCP cloud accounts and your data has to be transferred to those accounts where it is exposed to a shared tenancy model with other companies.

Yes, you retain full control of your data and how it is used. With Lifebit’s federated Trusted Research Environment approach to data access, your data remains within your own environment and only administrators in your organization can control who can access the data and which part of the data they can see. In multi-party federation, anyone who needs access to the data will need to be authenticated in each node following an IRB approval and this will be authorized by your data administrators. Access is granted on a need-to-know basis and strictly monitored to ensure compliance with data protection standards.
